MYTHIC MONDAYS
Mythology is the fabric in which our
imaginations are formed. Since the dawn of time, we humans have had
a story for why our world works the way it does. Here are a few
prompts to help you create a few new myths of your own.
- Tell us about the goddess that makes the trees green instead of purple or blue.
- Write a myth about how the first donuts were created
- How did the rose become a flower
- Pick and animal and create a legend around their most prominent feature.
- If you were a god or goddess, what would be your claim to fame?
Okay, this is only the first day, and
time goes by it will get better. I do this for myself to keep myself
writing and for you, to give you something to think about. As long
as we keep writing, we can create the myths that will one day be told
about us.
