When Inspiration Strikes

So the coolest thing happened to me the other night. I was struck with a bolt of inspiration for a new story. I have a serious love of ancient history and legends, especially old Celtic legends. So, I've been spending a lot of time on YouTube. I can watch all kinds of documentaries about my favorite and it finally sparked something in the recesses of my brain.

You would think this would be a good thing, and it is, but putting the idea down in writing not so much. Since getting my Kindle Fire, I'm finding out that this whole typing thing kinda sucks. I'm used to sitting down at the laptop and banging out a bunch of words in a short amount of time. I learned to type on an old manual typewriter and could do about 70 to 80 words a minute. I'm having to learn to do this all over again. I'm too old for this.

So I did the next best thing. I did something I haven't done in a long time. I wrote out my whole idea with pen on paper. Been forever since I wrote that much out long hand. Had a cramp in my fingers that I thought would never go away, but it was worth it.

Not sure where the story will go from here, but when inspiration strikes, I have to answer the call.
